Registration Cancellation Policy

Michigan Palkar fully understands that individual situations occur that may require you to cancel your registration. This section details our cancellation and refund policy, and provides instructions on how to cancel a registration.

How to Cancel Registration
To cancel a registration, you must email us at michiganpalkar@gmail.com. Please mention your name and login id (Mobile Phone#) and reason for cancellation in your email.

Upon receipt of your cancellation notice, Michigan palkar team will process your request and send you an email confirming your cancellation. You may also receive a phone call from Michigan palkar if required. Fees collected to register your seat may be refundable if you cancel in advance. Please see our refund policy below for details.

Refund Policy of Registration Fee
Cancellation request submitted before 14-April-2020 PST will receive a full refund for any registration fee collected. Since the convention cost is huge and Michigan Palkar being a smaller community and having very limited resources, any cancellation made after this date or no-shows are ineligible for any refund and their registration fee will be treated as donation amount towards the convention.

Donation Refund Policy

We are grateful for your donation and support of our North American Palkar Convention 2020 (PC2020 – Motown Vishes). Donations are normally not refundable but if you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to the PC2020, Please email to michiganpalkar@gmail.com within 48hrs for reversing the transaction. Any request for a refund may incur processing fees. Refunds will be returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

The IRS ruling: “a donation to a charitable organization is considered an irrevocable gift”. Please see IRS pub 1771, IRS pub 526, and 26 US Code § 170
